A mixture of pieces, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, passing through a sieve with 7 mm holes. The color of the pieces of leaves, stems, calyx – green, light green, yellowish-green seeds – yellow, light brown corolla fragments – blue, purple, light purple, light yellow or yellowish white. The smell is faint. The taste of the water extract is sweetish with a sensation of mucus.

Indications

In the complex treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system (tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, whooping cough).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, gastritis and peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum during exacerbation, cholelithiasis, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Directions for use

About 8 g (2 tablespoons) of the violet grass is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of chilled boiled water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath with occasional stirring for 15 minutes, cool when at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed.

The volume of the resulting infusion was adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml. Adults and children over 12 years old are taken orally in a warm form, 1 / 3-1 / 2 cups 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. A second course is possible after consultation with a doctor.

Shake the infusion before use.

Side effects

Allergic reactions possible. Long-term use of infusion of violet grass in doses, exceeding the recommended, may lead to nausea, vomiting.

Storage conditions
