Pharmacological action of
The mechanism of action of the pyrantel pamoate is to block neuromuscular transmission, impair the permeability of cell membranes and inhibit cholinesterase activity, which leads to paralysis and death of the parasite.
Sodium ribonucleate accelerates the regeneration of intestinal cells of an animal injured by nematodes and stimulates the body’s immune processes.
Indications
For prophylactic and therapeutic purposes in case of nematodoses (toxocariasis, toxascaridosis, uncinariosis, hookworm, trichocephalosis) in dogs and cats.
Contraindications
Dironet Junior should not be used in puppies and kittens younger than 3 weeks of age.
Dironet Junior should not be used in conjunction with piperazine and levamisole, due to the possible increase in their toxicity.
Composition
Dironet Junior as active ingredients in 1 ml contains pyrantel pamoate – 15 mg and sodium ribonucleate – 0.5 mg, as well as excipients.
Dironet Junior
dosage and administration method is applied to puppies, kittens, and adult animals individually individually in the morning feed with a small amount of feed or force-fed using a syringe at the rate of 1 ml of suspension per 1 kg of animal weight. When deworming animals weighing less than 0.5 kg, immediately before use, 0.3 ml of boiled water is added to the measured dose of the drug, shaken thoroughly and introduced into the animal inside. For therapeutic purposes, deworming of animals is carried out according to indications, with prophylactic – quarterly in a therapeutic dose, as well as 7-10 days before each vaccination.
Side effects
When using the drug according to the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed.
Storage conditions
Dironet Junior in the manufacturer ² ¢s sealed packaging, in a dark and dry place, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 ° C to 25 ° C, out of the reach of children and animals.
