Pharmacological action insecticide, acaricidal
spray BlohNet exert devastating effects on all stages of development of insects and mites parasitic on dogs and cats: ticks of the family Ixodidae, Sarcoptes canis, Otodectes cynotis and insects Linognathus setosus, Trichodectes canis, Ctenocephalides spp.
The high insect-acaricidal activity of the BlochNet spray is due to the presence in its composition of a complex of active substances that complement each other, so fipronil blocks the GABA-dependent parasite receptors and disrupts neuromuscular transmission, which leads to its paralysis and death.
Benzyl benzoate accumulates in the body of the parasite in concentrations toxic to it, causing its death. Diethyltoluamide has a pronounced repellent activity. Yuvemon – an analogue of juvenile hormone, a regulator of growth and development of insects, an inhibitor of chitin formation, disrupts the processes of molting, pupation and fledging of the parasite.
The product is a low-hazard substance for warm-blooded animals.
Indications
Protection against attack by bloodsucking insects. Prevention and treatment of entomoses (lice, fleas, lice). Prevention and treatment of lesions of dogs and cats with ixodid and scabies mites.
Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Pregnant and lactating females, puppies under the age of 10 weeks, kittens under the age of 12 weeks, as well as patients with infectious diseases and recovering animals cannot be treated.
Recommendations for use
Insect-acaricidal spray Bloch Net treats the skin and hair of an animal from a distance of 25 – 30 cm, along the back, against hair growth, moisturizing the coat slightly, at the rate of 1 ml of spray (1 full pressure on the spray head) per 1 kg of animal weight. Auricles are treated by covering the eyes and nose of the animal. Around the eyes and nose, the drug should be rubbed with your fingertips. The duration of the protective action is: from the midge – 7 days from fleas – up to 2 months from other ectoparasites within 1 month. Repeated procedure should be carried out no more than once a month. For the treatment of sarcoptosis and notoedrosis, the drug is used at the rate of 1 ml per 10 cm2 of the affected area of the skin and hair of the animal. The procedure is carried out 2 to 4 times with an interval of 5 to 7 days. To treat the places of keeping the animal, bedding and blankets, the drug is used at the rate of 30 ml (i.e. 30 clicks on the spray head) per 1 m2 of the enclosure. Slots baseboards and care products are processed at the rate of 15 clicks per 1 m2 of surface. 1 – 2 hours after the procedure, the room must be ventilated, and the surfaces treated with the product must be vacuumed.
Special instructions
When handling the product, use rubber gloves, especially if there are abrasions and other skin lesions on the hands. During processing, it is forbidden to drink, smoke and eat food. The procedure should only be performed outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Do not stroke the animal, let it in to small children and bathe within 48 hours after using the drug. If the product gets on the skin or mucous membranes, it must immediately be washed off with a stream of water or removed with a swab and then washed with water. At the end of the treatment, hands should be thoroughly washed with warm water and soap.
Composition
BlochNet insect-acaricidal spray in 1 ml contains as active ingredients: fipronil – 5 mg, juvemon – 1 mg, benzyl benzoate – 56 mg, diethyl toluamide – 50 mg and auxiliary components.
Side effects of
In very rare cases, with increased individual sensitivity to the drug, signs of intoxication and allergies (muscle tremors, vomiting, excessive salivation and lacrimation, skin itching, irritation and redness of the skin) may appear. If these symptoms appear or other manifestations of intolerance, the drug should be immediately washed off with soap and water or shampoo.
Storage conditions
Precautions (List B). In a dry place, protected from light and direct sunlight, out of the reach of children and animals. Separated from food and feed at temperatures between 0 and 30 ° C.
