Pharmacological action
Syrup Holos is a drug with a choleretic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory effect that increases the protective functions of the body.
The medicine enhances intestinal motility, restores bile outflows.
Indications
The drug is used for hepatitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis, for general strengthening of physical condition, for excessive mental and physical stress to reduce recovery time, for alcohol poisoning, to maintain immunity.
For the prevention of colds during exacerbations, for better absorption of preparations containing iron, for increasing hemoglobin in the blood (since it contains a large amount of vitamin C, which promotes the absorption of iron).
Contraindications
Individual immunity of components.
The medicine should be taken with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus, as well as in nursing mothers, since the drug can cause diathesis in children.
Ingredients
Extract from rose hips, which are rich in vitamins B, C, K, P.
The active substances that make up rose hips regulate metabolic processes, improve the digestibility of minerals and other nutrients.
Dosage and administration
Syrup is taken orally half an hour before or after meals, depending on the indications.
Children take a quarter or half teaspoon, adults take a teaspoon twice – three times a day.
A full recovery course is 2–4 weeks.
During pregnancy and lactation, taking the drug is not prohibited.
Side effects
Allergic effects that manifest as itching, burning, redness of the skin, urticaria, heartburn.
Storage conditions
Store at room temperature, away from children and direct light sources.
