BRAVEKTO d / dogs 40-56 kg is a tablet for oral use. Due to the rapid absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, the active substance enters the bloodstream and after a day the maximum concentration in the blood plasma is reached. The drug belongs to the class of low toxicity drugs, which allows it to be widely used as an antiparasitic agent against ectoparasites. Fleas and ixodid ticks die 4-8 hours after fixing on the host.
An important fact is that ectoparasites do not have time to lay eggs or larvae. This eliminates the risk of spread and infection of the premises. More than 90% of the drug is excreted along with feces. The half-life is at least 12 days after administration. The duration of the antiparasitic action of BRAVEKTO for dogs of 40-56 kg allows to provide maximum protection for dogs from the spread of fleas and ixodid ticks.
The drug is available in two dosages, which facilitates the selection of the optimal amount of active substance for each pet. The calculation is based on the body weight of the dog and the required amount of fluralaner.
Pills can be fed either by hand or by mixing them with a small amount of goodies. Do not violate the integrity of the tablet
Special instructions
There are no specific effects on the first use of the drug and its withdrawal. With the simultaneous use of Bravecto with anthelmintics, antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and glucocorticosteroids, undesirable reactions and a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug were not detected.
Side effects
Side effects and complications when using the drug in accordance with the instructions, as a rule, are not observed. In rare cases, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and salivation are possible. If the dog has vomited within the first two hours after taking Bravecto, it is recommended to make sure that the vomiting has stopped and give the drug again in the same dose.
