Indications
Decoction of rhizomes of the cinquefoil is used internally for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (diarrhea, enteritis, colitis) externally – in the form of rinses for inflammatory processes of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis, tonsillitis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
When taken orally, children under 12 years old.

Dosage and administration
About 15 g (1 tablespoon) of crushed rhizomes are placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of chilled boiled water, cover and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, then filtered, without cooling, the remaining raw materials are squeezed. The volume of the resulting broth is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take orally 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.
Topically, a decoction is used to rinse the oral cavity.
Shake broth before use.
Side effects
Allergic reactions possible.
Long-term use of large doses can cause loss of appetite, indigestion.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place, cooked broth – in a cool place for no more than 2 days. Keep out of the reach of children.
