Description
What are your preferred diet for pregnancy
Elevit Pronatal (1) is an etovitamin-mineral complex different from many others (2), due to the increased dosage of folic acid, iron and vitamin D, which contributes to the development of such important organs of the child as the heart and brain.
Elevit Pronatal is recommended for use during the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy (3).
Elevit Pronatal helps expectant mothers replenish the supply of trace elements necessary for the proper development of the main organs of the child.
Unlike many multivitamins (2), Elevit Pronatal contains:
– An increased dosage of folic acid 800 Ñg, which allows you to saturate the body with the necessary level of folates 2 times faster (4). Needed for DNA synthesis, plays an important role in the formation of the brain and neural tube of the fetus.
– Vitamin D contributes to the proper formation of bones and the immune system
– Iron for hematopoiesis and preventing oxygen starvation of the fetus
Second and third trimesters of pregnancy:
Every day, the body of an unborn baby grows and develops rapidly, transforming from a formed embryo into a full-fledged human body. During this period, it is important to pay special attention to the development of the heart and brain, on which the functioning of the whole organism of the child depends on.
Throughout pregnancy, a woman needs to consider the quality of nutrition in order to provide herself and her baby with all the necessary vitamins and minerals, the need for which increases to 150%. But to get these valuable nutrients from food is not always possible, because for the sake of the daily norm of vitamins it may be necessary to use an exorbitant amount of food.
Elevit – let the baby be born healthy! Vitamins for pregnant women in the second and third trimester (3).
1. There are contraindications. Before use, consult a specialist.
2. According to DSM Group, as of August 2017, Elevit Pronatal contains a dosage of folic acid in excess of 400 mcg in combination with iron and vitamin D despite the fact that 75% of the market for pregnant vitamins does not have this property (LP and Dietary supplement).
3. The estimated period of use within the line of the vitamin and mineral complexes Elevit. According to the instructions, Elevit Pronatal can be used at the stage of pregnancy planning, during pregnancy, after childbirth and during breastfeeding.
4. Compared with preparations containing 400 micrograms of folate. Brmswig S., Prinz-Langenohl R. et al. Supplementation with a multivitamin containing 800 microg of folic acid shortens the time to reach the preventive red blood cell folate concentration in healthy women. Pharmacological action
Pharmacological action of Elevit Pronatal is due to the presence of a complex of vitamins and minerals in its composition.
Vitamin A – promotes the formation of various substances (lipids, proteins, mucopolysaccharides). Provides the normal condition of the skin and mucous membranes, as well as the functioning of the organs of vision.
Vitamin B1 – contributes to the normalization of the heart and nervous system. Participates in hematopoiesis and improves blood microcirculation. It is also involved in carbohydrate, lipid, protein water-salt metabolism.
Vitamin B2 – essential for the formation of crane blood cells and antibodies. It has a positive effect on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. It eliminates the negative effects of various toxins on the respiratory tract. Contributes to the normal development of the fetus
Vitamin B6 – plays a very important role in metabolism. Lowers the concentration of cholesterol and lipids in the blood. Vitamin B6 is required for the normal functioning of the central peripheral nervous system. It improves myocardial contractility and stimulates hematopoiesis. Beneficial effect on the structure of bone tissue, teeth and gums.
Vitamin B12 – with its help blood cells are formed, contributes to the normal activity of the nervous system. Increases oxygen metabolism of cells in the presence of acute or chronic hypoxia. Improves sleep.
Vitamin C – takes part in the formation of bones, teeth, gums strengthens the walls of small vessels. Increases the body’s resistance to infectious diseases. Promotes the body’s absorption of calcium and iron.
Vitamin D3 – regulates calcium-phosphorus metabolism in the body, promotes absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the gastrointestinal tract and timely deposition in bone tissue and dentin, thus preventing osteomalacia (softening) of bones and tooth decay. Helps prevent rickets.
Vitamin E – improves microcirculation of the blood, necessary for tissue regeneration. Participates in the formation of gonadotropin and the normal development of placental tissue. Provides the normal functioning of the blood coagulation system. Prevents anemia by strengthening capillary walls. Provides the normal formation of red blood cells. Participates in the formation of collagen and elastic fibers of the skin.
Folic acid – takes part in hematopoiesis, has an antianemic effect. It plays a crucial role during conception and pregnancy. It contributes to the proper formation of embryonic nerve cells, which is extremely important for its normal development. Taking folic acid during conception and early pregnancy can prevent fetal neural tube defects, anencephaly and splitting of the spine (spina bifida). Prevents premature birth and premature rupture of the amniotic membrane. Helps reduce postpartum depression.
Nicotinamide – promotes the synthesis of adrenal hormones. It takes part in the formation of antibodies, improves the absorption of other vitamins. It activates fat metabolism and takes part in redox processes.
Biotin – is involved in fat, protein and carbohydrate metabolism, improving the condition of the skin, hair and nails.
Calcium pantothenate is also necessary for protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism, the formation of amino acids, fatty acids, cholesterol, histamine, hemoglobin and acetylcholine.
Calcium – is necessary for the normal formation of bone tissue and dentin in the fetus, as well as for the prevention of softening of bones and tooth decay in the mother. It also contributes to the normal functioning of the blood coagulation system. Affects the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system.
Phosphorus – along with calcium, promotes the formation of bones, teeth, and also participates in energy metabolism.
Iron – takes part in the formation of blood cells. It is part of hemoglobin, which is important in transporting oxygen to tissues.
Zinc – is a component of various enzymes that are involved in the synthesis and metabolism of hormones (mainly glucocorticosteroids). It has an effect on the condition of the skin and hair.
Magnesium – takes part in the formation of muscle and bone tissue. It is part of all cells and tissues.
Manganese – plays an important role in the reproductive function of women, improves memory and increased irritability.
Copper – prevents the occurrence of anemia, as it is directly involved in the formation of hemoglobin. Affects reproductive function. Promotes fetal growth.
