Pharmacological action
Magnelis B6 – a drug that replenishes the deficiency of magnesium in the body.
Indications
Established magnesium deficiency, isolated or associated with other deficient conditions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug

Caution should be used in patients with moderate renal failure, as there is a risk of developing hypermagnesemia.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Clinical experience has not revealed a fetotoxic or teratogenic effect of the drug.

Magnesium penetrates excreted in breast milk.

Dosage and Administration
Adults are advised to prescribe 6-8 tablets per day.
Children over 6 years of age (weighing more than 20 kg) – 4-6 tablets per day.
The daily dose should be divided into 2-3 doses.
Treatment should be discontinued after normalizing the concentration of magnesium in the blood.
Magnelis B6 should be taken with meals with a glass of water.
Side effects
From the digestive tract: abdominal pain, constipation, nausea, vomiting, flatulence.
Allergic reactions: allergic reactions to the components of the drug are possible.
Drug Interactions
The simultaneous use of drugs containing phosphates or calcium salts can significantly reduce the absorption of magnesium in the gastrointestinal tract.
Magnesium preparations reduce the absorption of tetracycline, it is recommended to share the intake ofquiet preparations at three-hour intervals.
Magnesium weakens the action of oral thrombolytic agents, reduces the absorption of iron.
Vitamin B6 inhibits levodopa activity.
Overdose
Symptoms: drop in blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, slowing of reflexes, anuria, respiratory depression, coma, cardiac arrest.
Treatment: rehydration, forced diuresis. Renal insufficiency requires hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
