Pharmacological action

Magnelis B6 – a drug that replenishes the deficiency of magnesium in the body.

Indications

Established magnesium deficiency, isolated or associated with other deficient conditions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug

Dosage and Administration

Adults are advised to prescribe 6-8 tablets per day.

Children over 6 years of age (weighing more than 20 kg) – 4-6 tablets per day.

The daily dose should be divided into 2-3 doses.

Treatment should be discontinued after normalizing the concentration of magnesium in the blood.

Magnelis B6 should be taken with meals with a glass of water.

Drug Interactions

The simultaneous use of drugs containing phosphates or calcium salts can significantly reduce the absorption of magnesium in the gastrointestinal tract.

Magnesium weakens the action of oral thrombolytic agents, reduces the absorption of iron.

Vitamin B6 inhibits levodopa activity.

Overdose
