Pharmacological action
Decoction has an astringent, anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications
Used internally for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (diarrhea, enteritis, colitis) locally – in the form of lotions and rinses for inflammatory processes of the oral cavity and pharynx (stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation, childhood up to 12 years.
Composition
Scapular rhizomes.
Dosage and administration
2 filter bags (5.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) boiling water, cover and leave for 30 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them.
The volume of the resulting broth was adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take inside 1 / 2-1 / 3 cup 2-3 times a day before meals, the course of treatment is 7-10 days.
Decoction is applied topically for lotions and 1/4 cup rinse 3-5 times a day, the course of treatment is 5-14 days.
Shake broth before use.
Side effects
Allergic reactions possible.
Long-term use of large doses can cause loss of appetite, constipation.
Storage conditions
Dry, protected from light place, cooked broth – in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
