Pharmacological action of
Aminosteril H Hepa – parenteral nutrition drug (amino acid solution) used in liver failure
Normalizes the level of branched and aromatic amino acids in liver failure. It improves the detoxification of ammonia and urea production (does not increase the level of ammonia in the blood after the appointment).
Administration to peripheral or central veins is possible.
Indications
Parenteral administration of amino acids in severe hepatic impairment with or without impaired brain function (encephalopathy) therapy for impaired liver function (hepatic coma).
Contraindications
Disorders of amino acid metabolism, hyperkalemia, impaired renal function, decompensated heart failure.
Special instructions
The simultaneous introduction of solutions of carbohydrates and fat emulsions. It should be borne in mind that when treating with parenteral nutrition, the volume of 40 ml / kg / day of the total amount of fluid that is administered to the patient should not be exceeded.
With the simultaneous administration of other drugs, their osmolarity should be considered.
Composition
Active substances: L-isoleucine 10.40 g, L-leucine 13.09 g, L-lysine monohydrate 9.71 g (L-lysine 6.88 g), L-methionine 1.10 g, acetylcysteine 0.70 g (L-istein 0.52 g), L-phenylalanine 0.88 g, L-threonine 4.40 g, L-tryptophan 0.70 g, L-valine 10.08 g, arginine 10 , 72 g, L-histidine 2.80 g, aminoacetic acid 5.82 g, L-alanine 4.64 g, L-proline 5.73 g, L-serine 2.24 g, glacial acetic acid 4.42 g
The solution does not contain carbohydrates and electrolytes.
Dosage and administration
Dosing rate – up to 1.25 ml per kg body weight per hour, which is 0.08 – 0.1 g of amino acids per 1 kg of patient body weight per hour.
Maximum dose: 1.5 g of amino acids per kg of body weight per day, i.e. 1300 ml / day with a patient weight of 70 kg.
Side effects
Possibly: hypersensitivity reactions.
