Pharmacological action
Linkas has an expectorant effect. It reduces the intensity and increases the productivity of cough, has an expectorant, mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications
Symptomatic therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by coughing with difficult sputum (against the background of acute respiratory diseases, flu, tracheitis, bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, bronchitis of ² Ñsmokers ² Ñ and other inflammatory respiratory diseases).
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Severe impairment of liver and kidney function. Pregnancy. The period of breastfeeding. Age to 18 years.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Due to the lack of sufficient studies to date, Linkas is not recommended for use during pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.
Composition
10 ml contain:
Active substances:a L.) 50 mg, cordia broadleaf fruit extract dry (Cordia latifolia) 100 mg, marshmallow medicinal flower extract dry (Althaea officinalis L.) 100 mg, jujube fruit extract dry (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) 100 mg, onosma flowering leaves and dry flower extract (Onosma bracteatum Wall.) 100 mg
Excipients: sucrose citric acid anhydrous glycerol methyl parahydroxybenzoate propyl parahydroxybenzoate propylene glycol peppermint peppermint oil clove oil purified water.
Dosage and administration of
Linkas is taken orally. Children from 6 months to 3 years – 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day 3-8 years – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day 8-18 years – 1 teaspoon 4 times a day for adults – 2 teaspoons 3-4 times a day.
Duration of use of the drug is 5-7 days. An increase in the duration and repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
Side effects
Rarely – allergic reaction.
Drug Interaction
It is not recommended to use concurrently with antitussive drugs and with medicines that reduce phlegm formation.
