The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated (efficacy and safety have not been studied).
Composition of
1 capsule contains:
Active ingredients: urolesan extract is thick, calculated on the moisture content of 10% – 10.70 mg (calculated on dry matter: carrot wild seed extract – 1.84 mg, hop fruit extract – 6 , 33 mg, oregano herb extract – 1.46 mg) peppermint oil – 7.46 mg fir oil – 25.50 mg
Excipients: magnesium hydroxycarbonate (heavy magnesium carbonate) – 131.96 mg, lactose monohydrate ( tabletose-80) – 50.10 mg, castor oil – 35.15 mg, magnesium aluminometasilicate (neusilin UFL2) – 27.11 mg, talc – 6.38 mg, potato starch – 5.62 mg, disodium edetate dihydrate (trilon B) – 0.02 mg.
Dosage and administration
Urolesan is used orally, before meals, 1 capsule 3 times a day. In case of renal and hepatic colic, a single dose can be increased once to 2 capsules, then, at subsequent doses, return to the usual single dose (1 capsule).
Capsules should be taken without chewing, with a little water. In acute conditions (including renal and hepatic colic), the duration of the course of therapy is from 5 to 7 days, in chronic conditions – up to 1 month. An increase in duration and a second course of treatment is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Side effects
From the digestive system: dyspeptic symptoms (heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
Allergic reactions: itching, redness of the face, skin rash, angioedema (feeling of sore throat, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue).
From the central and peripheral nervous system: dizziness, general weakness.
From the cardiovascular system: increase / decrease in blood pressure.
Overdose
Dose-related side effects (including nausea, vomiting, dizziness) may increase. Symptomatic treatment: copious warm drink, rest, activated charcoal, atropine sulfate.
