Pharmacological action
Dr. IOM – combined herbal medicine with expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect.
The effects of the drug are due to the properties of its constituent components.
Naked licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect.
Ginger officinalis extract (Zingiber officinale) It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
Extract of the emblica officinalis (Emblica officinalis) It has anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects.
Menthol Has an analgesic, antispasmodic and antiseptic effect.
Indications
Symptomatic therapy of acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by dry cough:
Pharyngitis.
Laryngitis (including professional lecture laryngitis).
Tracheitis.
Bronchitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug for children under 18 years of age (due to lack of clinical data).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation due to lack of clinical data.
Special instructions
The product contains sugar, which must be considered for patients with diabetes mellitus, as well as for people on a low-calorie diet.

Dosing and Administration
Adults are prescribed 1 lozenge every 2 hours.
Lozenges should be slowly absorbed in the mouth.
The maximum daily dose is 10 lozenges.
The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Allergic reactions possible.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with antitussive drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce sputum formation, is not recommended, because this makes it difficult to discharge liquefied sputum.
