Pharmacological action
Carsil – hepatoprotector. Derived from the plant Silybum marianum. It has hepatoprotective and antioxidant effects. The therapeutic effect is due to the effect on the metabolism of hepatocytes. Activates the synthesis of proteins and enzymes in hepatocytes, It has a stabilizing effect on the membrane of hepatocytes, inhibits the penetration of toxins into liver cells, inhibits dystrophic processes, and potentiates regenerative processes in the liver.

The preparation contains wheat starch as an auxiliary substance.

The medicinal product contains sucrose as an auxiliary substance. Patients with rare hereditary intolerance to fructose, galactose, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase deficiency should not take the drug.

Dosage and administration

Overdose
