Pharmacological action
Decoction of oak bark has an astringent, anti-inflammatory effect due to the presence of tannins.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Oak bark.
Dosage and administration
6 g of raw materials (2 tablespoons / 4 filter bags) are placed in glass or enamel dishes, filled with 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath with periodic stirring 30 min, filter without cooling, squeeze out the remaining raw materials. The volume of the resulting broth is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.
Apply to rinses in the form of heat for 1 / 2-1 cup of broth 6-8 times a day.
Shake broth before use.
Side effects
Allergic reactions possible. With prolonged use of a decoction of oak bark for rinsing the oral cavity, in some cases, there is a decrease in smell and taste.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place cooked broth – in a cool place for no more than 2 days. Keep out of the reach of children!
