Pharmacological action
Sustagard – a drug that helps to restore the structure of cartilage tissue. The drug stimulates the synthesis of glucosaminoglycan and proteoglycan of cartilage, and also increases the formation of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid.
Indications
As a biologically active food supplement – a source of glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the components of dietary supplements, pregnancy, breast-feeding, diabetes mellitus should not be combined with the use of anticoagulants.
Before applying dietary supplements to food, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
Composition
1 amp. (2 ml) contains:
Active ingredient: glucosamine sodium sulfate chloride 502.5 mg
Excipients: lidocaine hydrochloride – 10 mg, sodium disulfite – 2 mg, concentrated hydrochloric acid – up to pH 2.0-3.0, water d / and – up to 2 ml .
Solvent (solution B) amp. 1 ml: diethanolamine – 24 mg, water d / i – up to 1 ml.
Dosage and administration
Intramuscular administration only! The drug is not intended for intravenous administration.
Immediately prior to administration, mix the contents of ampoule A with ampoule B (solvent) in a single syringe. The prepared solution (3 ml) is administered intramuscularly 3 times a week for 4-6 weeks.
Injection of the drug can be combined with oral glucosamine.
Storage conditions
