Ethamsylate solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration.
Packing

Pharmacological action
Antihemorrhagic agent. It normalizes the permeability of the vascular wall, improves microcirculation. The action is apparently associated with an activating effect on the formation of thromboplastin. It does not affect prothrombin time, does not have hypercoagulation properties and does not contribute to the formation of blood clots.
The onset of action is 5-15 minutes after an iv injection, the maximum effect is 1-2 hours after administration. Duration of action – 4-6 hours.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of capillary bleeding:
for diabetic angiopathies
for surgical interventions in otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dentistry, urology, surgery and gynecology
emergency cases of blood and pulmonary arteriosis, and
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to etamsylate.

Ethamsylate should not be used as the only remedy if the patient has hemorrhages caused by anticoagulants.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use with caution in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Composition of
1 ml of solution contains:
Active ingredient: ethamylate 125 mg
Excipients: sodium disulfite 4 mg, disodium edetate 0.1 mg, water d / and up to 1 ml.
Dosage and administration of
Intramuscularly or intravenously – 125-250 mg 3-4 times a day. If necessary, a single dose for parenteral administration can be increased to 375 mg.
For children – 10-15 mg / kg / day, the frequency of use – 3 times a day in equal doses.
