Pharmacological action of
The complex of biologically active substances that make up Lespefril increases renal filtration, reduces azotemia, increases excretion of nitrogenous toxins in the urine, increases diuresis, and increases excretion of sodium and to a lesser extent potassium.
Indications
For symptomatic therapy as a hypoazotemic and diuretic agent in chronic renal failure.

age up to 18 years
individual drug sensitivity.
Special instructions
With the development of hyponatremia, it should be compensated by the introduction of preparations containing sodium ions.
The drug contains at least 40% ethanol. In the maximum single dose of the drug, the ethanol content is at least 4.7 g, in the maximum daily dose – at least 18.8 g.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms
During treatment, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
Composition of
100 ml of the solution contains:
Active substances:
shoots of two-colored woodpeckers,
ethyl alcohol 95%,
purified water,
anise oil.
Dosage and administration
Lespefril is used orally in 5-15 ml (1 teaspoon – 1 tablespoon) 3-4 times a day.
Dilution of the basic solution is allowed before drinking.
The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.
A second course of treatment is possible in 2-3 weeks, after consulting a doctor.
Side effects
Allergic reactions.
In rare cases – hyponatremia (compensated by the introduction of sodium preparations).
Drug interaction
Due to the ethanol content of the drug, the simultaneous administration of disulfiram, sedative drugs, non-selective inhibitors of monoamine oxidase, insulin, metformin, sulfonamide is contraindicated.
When co-prescribing several drugs, the presence of ethanol in the drug must be taken into account, since it can alter or enhance the effect of other drugs.
Overdose
Overdose may increase side effects.
Treatment: symptomatic.
