Indications
Intrahepatic cholestasis, hepatitis of various origins: toxic (including alcoholic), viral, medicinal (antibiotics, antitumor, anti-tuberculosis and antiviral drugs, tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives of the liver, precyclic encephalitis, precycosis, encephalitis, , depressive syndromes, including secondary ones, as well as with alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
It is not recommended to be taken in the I-II trimester of pregnancy and during lactation.
Special instructions
Given the tonic effect of the drug, it is not recommended to take before bedtime. Oral administration of the drug in patients with cirrhosis associated with hyperasotemia should be carried out under the supervision of a physician with control of the nitrogen level.
A heptor tablet should be removed from the package immediately before use. The tablets of the drug are coated with a special membrane that dissolves only in the intestine, due to which ademethionine is released in the duodenum.

Dosing and doses of
A daily dose of 800-1600 mg (2-4 tablets) is recommended during maintenance therapy. The duration of maintenance therapy is an average of 2-4 weeks.
Tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing. To improve the therapeutic effect, tablets are recommended to be taken between meals.
Side effects
Due to the fact that the active substance of the drug has an acidic pH, some patients may experience discomfort in the epigastric region when using tablets.
In any case, these feelings are short-lived, are not pronounced and should not serve as a reason for stopping the course of treatment.

Overdose
