Description

Pharmacological action srdlincrete 15% antibiotic amdicin penicillin groups, active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including Escherichia, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Clostridia, Staphylococcus, Erysipelotrix, hemophilus, Bordetella, Corynebacterium and Mycoplasma. The drug is well absorbed into the blood from the injection site and penetrates into all organs and tissues of the body. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is achieved 1-2 hours after administration and remains at the therapeutic level for 48 hours. It is excreted mainly in urine and in small quantities with bile.

Indications

– infections of the gastrointestinal tract including: enteritis, gastroenteritis, enterocolitis

– respiratory diseases: bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis

– surgical diseases: abscesses, inflammation of the joints

– diseases of the genitourinary system: metritis, endometritis, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis

– other infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.

Contraindications

Do not use for infections caused by penicillin-forming microorganisms. The drug is not used by rodents and intravenously.

Special instructions

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 14 days after discontinuation of the drug. The meat of animals forced to be killed before the expiration of this period can be used to feed fur animals or produce meat and bone meal. Milk from animals that were injected with a 15% suspension of amoxicillin is allowed to be used for food purposes after 48 hours after the end of treatment. Milk obtained from animals during the use of amoxicillin and until 48 hours after the last injection of the drug is used to feed animals.

Composition

A preparation in the form of an injection, 1 ml contains 150 mg of amoxicillin in the form of a trihydrate.

Dosage and administration

A preparation for intramuscular or subcutaneous administration, with an interval of 24 hours. Cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats are administered in a dose: 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight, which corresponds to 15 mg of amoxicillin per kg of body weight. The course of treatment is 3-5 days.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible, which quickly disappear after discontinuation of the drug.
