Pharmacological action
Combined antiseptic for topical administration in the oral cavity and pharynx. It has an antimicrobial effect. Active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.
Due to the low systemic absorption, data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug ADGISEPT ® are not available.
Indications
– Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx.
Contraindications
– children under 5 years of age
– hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Special instructions
When taking the drug Agisept, patients with diabetes should take into account the sugar content in each tablet: Agisept resorption tablets [lemon] – 1010 mg dextrose and 1.56 g sucrose, Agisept resorption tablets [orange] – 1010 mg 6 and dextrose g sucrose Agisept lozenges [pineapple] – 1010 mg dextrose and 1.56 g sucrose.
If you accidentally skip one or more doses, do not increase the dose.
Composition
Active ingredients:
2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol ………. 1.2 mg
amyl methacresol ……………….. ………… 0.6 mg
Excipients: Citric acid, racemol, eucalyptus leaf oil, dye indigo carmine, dextrose, sucrose.
Dosage and administration
For resorption in the oral cavity. Adults are prescribed 1 tablet every 2 hours. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets. Children over 5 years of age are prescribed 1 tablet every 4 hours. The tablets are dissolved until completely dissolved.
Side effects
When used as indicated in the recommended doses, no side effects of the drug were noted.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant interactions of the drug Agisept with drugs of other groups have been identified.
