Release form
ointment for external use 20%. 25 g each in aluminum tubes or in polyethylene laminate tubes. Each tube, together with instructions for the use of the drug, is placed in a pack of cardboard.
Pharmacological action
Anti-scab drug for external use. It has a toxic effect on scabies mites. Causes the death of larvae and adult scabies mites does not affect eggs.
Pharmacokinetics
Penetrates into the upper layers of the epidermis, is not absorbed into the systemic circulation.
Indications
Scabies.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
Composition of
1 g of ointment contains:
active ingredient – benzyl benzoate – 200.0 mg
excipients: trolamine – 50.0 mg, stearic acid 95 – 200.0 mg, macrogol-400 – 50.0 mg, water – up to 1.0 g.
Dosage and Administration
Externally. After washing at night, the ointment is applied to the entire skin, excluding the face and scalp, rubbed with hands that do not wash until morning, 30-40 g of ointment is consumed per rubbing. On the fourth day, the treatment is repeated, on the fifth day, washing with a change of underwear and bed linen is prescribed.
Side effects
Burning sensation at the site of application, allergic reactions.
Storage Conditions
Store in a dry and out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25C.
Expiration
3 years. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
