Ointment has a water-repellent effect and forms a protective film that protects the skin from external moisture, having a deep fat-saturating effect, is most suitable for treating patients with dry and brittle skin.
Lotion (solution in a non-fat base) is easily distributed on the surface of the skin, does not stick and does not dry hair, does not leave visible traces, has a cooling effect on the skin.
Indications
– psoriasis
– eczema (especially chronic)
– ichthyosis
– limited pruritus with severe lichenization
– atopic dermatitis
– diffuse sarcid dermatitis – simple and common acute allergic dermatitis (limited neurodermatitis)
– dermatoses, non-treatable by other corticosteroids (especially red warty lichen)
– lichen planus
– skin dyshidrosis.
Contraindications
– hypersensitivity

Recommended Uses for
Outwardly. The drug is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 2 times a day (morning and night). In some patients, a supportive effect can be achieved with less frequent applications. The course of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.
For children from 2 to 12 years of age, apply a thin layer 1 or 2 times a day for no more than 5 days.
Duration, features of the treatment regimen, repeated courses of treatment must be agreed with the doctor.
Use the drug only according to the method of use and at the doses indicated in the instructions for use.

Special instructions
Avoid contact with the eyes, do not apply on the skin near the eyes and on the mucous membranes.
Long-term use on the skin of the face is not recommended – it is possible to develop dermatitis such as rosacea, perioral dermatitis, skin atrophy and acne to avoid use in the anogenital area.
The use of ointment in children should be as short as possible (the danger of systemic absorption is proportionally to a greater number of active components due to the predominance of the skin area over body weight and insufficient maturity of the epidermis).
If signs of an allergic reaction or local irritation appear, treatment should be discontinued.

excipients: liquid paraffin – 100 mg soft white paraffin – 869.36 mg
Side effects
Burning, irritation, dryness, hypopigmentation, itchy skin, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne.
When using occlusive dressings – maceration of the skin, striae, skin atrophy, secondary infection, prickly heat.
With prolonged use – skin atrophy, local hirsutism, telangiectasia, purpura, hypopigmentation, hypertrichosis.
When applied to large surfaces – systemic manifestations of side effects of corticosteroids (growth retardation, Itsenko-Cushing’s syndrome, benign increase in intracranial pressure after treatment, hyperglycemia, glucosuria, hypokalemia, increased blood pressure) or salicylates (pallor, increased fatigue, drowsiness, hyperventilation on background tachypnea, nausea, vomiting, hearing impairment, confusion).
Overdose
Symptoms: secondary adrenal insufficiency, hypercorticism, Cushing’s syndrome.
Treatment: symptomatic.
