Pharmacological action
Combined drug.
Paracetamol has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. Reduces the pain syndrome observed with colds – sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain, reduces fever.
Phenylephrine – alpha1-adrenergic agonist. It has a vasoconstrictor effect, reduces edema and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract and sinuses.
Chlorphenamine – a blocker of histamine H1 receptors, has an anti-allergic effect, reduces swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and paranasal sinuses, eliminates itching in the eyes and nose, and reduces exudative manifestations.
Caffeine has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, which leads to a decrease in fatigue and drowsiness, to increase mental and physical performance.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of colds, flu, SARS, accompanied by fever, pain, rhinorrhea.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug

diabetes mellitus (severe course)
simultaneous administration of tricyclic antidepressant medications, the drug inhibitors, the inhibitor Rinza ® components
pregnancy and lactation

Caution: the drug should be used for arterial hypertension, hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, blood diseases, congenital hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert syndrome, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome), liver and / or renal failure, angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The use of Rinza during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.

Dosage and administration
Adults and children over 15 years of age are prescribed 1 tab. 3-4 times / day.
The maximum daily dose is 4 tab.
The course of treatment is no more than 5 days.
Side effects
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema.
From the side of the central nervous system: dizziness, impaired falling asleep, increased irritability.
From the cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure, tachycardia.
From the digestive system: dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, hepatotoxic effect.
From the side of the organ of vision: mydriasis, paresis of accommodation, increased intraocular pressure.
From the hemopoietic system: anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, methemoglobinemia, pancytopenia.
From the urinary system: renal colic, glucosuria, inertial nephritis, papillary necrosis.
From the respiratory system: bronchial obstruction.
Drug interaction
Rinza potentiates the effects of MAO inhibitors, sedatives, ethanol.
With the simultaneous use of the drug Rinz with antidepressants, antiparkinsonian agents, antipsychotics, phenothiazine derivatives increases the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation.
ACS when used with Rinza increases the risk of developing glaucoma.
Paracetamol reduces the effectiveness of diuretics.
Ethanol enhances the sedation of antihistamines.
The use of chlorophenamine in conjunction with MAO inhibitors, furazolidone can lead to hypertensive crisis, agitation, hyperpyrexia.
Tricyclic antidepressants increase the adrenomimetic effect of phenylephrine, and the simultaneous administration of halothane increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmia.
Phenylephrine reduces the hypotensive effect of guanethidine, which in turn enhances the alpha-adrenostimulating activity of phenylephrine.
When administered concurrently with barbiturates, diphenin, carbamazepine, rifampicin and other inducers of liver microsomal enzymes, the risk of hepatotoxic action of paracetamol is increased.
