Pharmacological action of
Paracetamol has an antipyretic and analgesic effect: it reduces the pain syndrome observed with colds – sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain, reduces fever.
Phenylephrine has a vasoconstrictor effect – it reduces swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract and sinuses.
Pheniramine has an anti-allergic effect: it eliminates itching of the eyes, nose and throat, swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and adnexa of the nose, reduces exudative manifestations. Caffeine has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, which leads to a decrease in fatigue and drowsiness, to increase mental and physical performance.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of colds, flu, SARS (fever and pain, rhinorrhea).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol and other components that make up the drug taking other drugs containing substances, the tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers, MAO inhibitors, including in the period up to 14 days after the abolition of pregnancy, lactation, children’s age (up to 15 years).
With caution – severe atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries, arterial hypertension, thyrotoxicosis, pheochromocytoma, diabetes mellitus and hereditary malabsorption of sugar, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, congenital hyperbilirubinone syndrome, ), liver and / or renal failure, angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia.
Special instructions
Before taking the drug, a doctor s consultation is necessary if: taking metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine, anticoagulants (warfarin).
During the period of treatment should refrain from taking alcohol, sleeping pills and anxiolytic (tranquilizers) drugs. Do not take with other medicines, containing paracetamol. Caution should be exercised when performing work requiring concentration, increased speed of motor and mental reactions. If symptoms persist within 3-5 days, consult a doctor.
To avoid the toxic effects of liver damage, paracetamol SHOULD NOT BE COMBINED WITH ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AND ALSO TAKE PERSONS THOSE WHO ARE CHRONIC USE OF ALCOHOL.

Composition
Paracetamol 750 mg, caffeine 30 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg, pheniramine maleate 20 mg.
Excipients: sodium chloride, anhydrous citric acid, anhydrous sodium citrate, aspartame, anhydrous lactose, mannitol, disodium edetate.
Dosage and administration
Pour the contents of 1 sachet (sachet) into a glass, add hot water, mix until completely dissolved and drink (sugar or honey can be added if desired). It is necessary to take the drug with plenty of fluids, 1 to 2 hours after eating. Adults and children over 15 years of age: take one sachet 3-4 times a day with intervals between doses of 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 4 sachets.
The drug is not recommended for more than five days as an anesthetic and more than three days as an antipyretic without prescribing and monitoring a doctor.
An increase in the daily dose of the drug or the duration of treatment is possible only under the supervision of a doctor. Do not exceed the indicated dose. In case of overdose, consult a doctor immediately, even if you feel well.
Side effects
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema.
From the nervous system: dizziness, impaired falling asleep, increased irritability.
From the cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure, tachycardia.
From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, dry mouth, hepatotoxic effect.
From the sensory organs: mydriasis, paresis of accommodation, increased intraocular pressure.
From the hemopoietic organs: thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis.
Other: bronchospasm, urinary retention.
