Pharmacological action
biologically active substances, contained in marigold flowers (triterpene saponins, flavonoids, essential oil, sesquiterpenes, triterpenes, polysaccharides), have a local anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and reparative effect.
Indications
The drug is used to rinse in the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (gingivitis, stomatitis, periodontitis) and throat (tonsillitis), symptomatic treatment of mild inflammatory processes of the skin and small superficial wounds.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as to plants of the aster family (Asteraceae), such as arnica, ragweed, tansy, wormwood, aster, chrysanthemum.
Children under 6 years of age for external use (for skin diseases).
Children under 12 years of age for topical use (for inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat).
Period of pregnancy and lactation.

Due to the lack of sufficient clinical data, it is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and lactation.
Use in children
The drug is not recommended for children under 6 years of age for external use (for skin diseases), for children under 12 years of age for topical use (for inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat).
Special instructions
Do not use for persons prone to allergic reactions to calendula preparations.
If symptoms persist after using the drug for one week, consult a doctor.

Dosage and administration
For external use and for gargling, 1 teaspoon (about 140 drops) of calendula tincture is diluted in a glass of warm boiled water. The prepared solution is used for rinsing the throat and for external use (dressings, applications).

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor, taking into account the characteristics of the disease, drug tolerance and the effect achieved.
It is not recommended to use tincture for a long time because of the ethanol content.
