Pharmacological action of
Venoplant reduces capillary permeability, has venotonic, decongestant, anti-inflammatory and angioprotective effects.
Pharmacodynamics

Prevents activation of lysosomal enzymes that break down proteoglycan, increases the tone of the venous wall, eliminates venous congestion, and reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries.
Reduces exudation, reduces fluid effusion in the tissue, and accelerates the absorption of existing edema.
It inhibits inflammation, improves microcirculation, and promotes the repair of organs and tissues.
Pharmacokinetics
Horse chestnut seed extract dry contains a large number of biologically active substances, which together determine its pharmacological activity. Therefore, data on the pharmacokinetics of individual chemical components that make up the extract are insufficient for extrapolation to the drug as a whole.
Indications
Chronic venous insufficiency class I ² III according to CEAR classification: varicose veins, edema, cramps in the calf muscles, a feeling of heaviness in the legs.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to horse chestnut seed extract or any of the components of the drug for children under 18 years of age.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended, due to the lack of experimental data on the use.
Dosage and administration
Inside, before meals, morning and evening, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid. 1 tab. Venoplant 2 times a day.
Side effects
Allergic reactions: fever, urticaria, skin rash, itching, rarely – anaphylactic shock, dyspepsia (including nausea).
Drug Interaction
Venoplant enhances the effect of indirect anticoagulants.
Overdose
