Pharmacological action

Pharmacological action – chondrostimulating, chondroprotective.

Participates in the construction of the main substance of cartilage and bone tissue. It improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage, inhibits enzymes that disrupt the structure and function of articular cartilage, and inhibits the degeneration of cartilage. It stimulates the synthesis of glucosaminoglycans, normalizes the metabolism of hyaline tissue, and promotes the regeneration of cartilage surfaces and articular bags. Prevents compression of connective tissue, increases the production of intraarticular fluid, increases the mobility of the affected joints. Contraindications

Composition

1 ampoule of lyophilisate for the preparation of a solution for intramuscular administration contains: active substance: chondroitin sulfate 100 mg.

Dosage and administration of

Intramuscularly, 1 ml every other day. Before use, the contents of the ampoule are dissolved in 1 ml of water for injection. With good tolerance, the dose is increased to 2 ml, starting with the fourth injection. The course of treatment is 25 to 35 injections. Repeated courses – after 6 months.

The duration of repeated courses of treatment is determined by the doctor. To achieve a stable clinical effect, at least 25 injections of chondroitin sulfate are necessary, while the effect persists for many months after the end of the course of treatment. Repeated courses of treatment are indicated to prevent exacerbations.
