Pharmacological action of
Biologically active substances of ginkgo biloba leaf extract (standardized to 9.6 mg of ginkgoflavonoglycosides and 2.4 mg of terpenlactones (ginkgolides and bilobalides) in 40 mg of extract) help strengthen and increase the elasticity of the vascular wall, improve rheological properties as a result, microcirculation and the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain and peripheral tissues are improved.
The drug has cerebroprotective properties.
Reduces the permeability of the vascular wall (decongestant effect – both at the level of the brain and at the periphery).
The drug normalizes the metabolism in cells, prevents the aggregation of red blood cells, and inhibits platelet activation factor.
Prevents increased fibrinolytic activity of the blood.
Prevents the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes.
It has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system, expands small arteries, increases vein tone, and regulates blood vessels.
The drug increases the resistance of the body as a whole and especially brain tissue to hypoxia, inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic cerebral edema.
Indications

Dosage and administration
Inside, without chewing, washed down with a little water. Take in the morning, afternoon and evening, regardless of food intake.

For the symptomatic treatment of cerebrovascular disorders: 1-2 tablets. 3 times a day. The duration of treatment is at least 8 weeks.

Side effects
Possible allergic reactions (skin rash, itching), gastrointestinal upset (dyspepsia), headache, decreased blood coagulation.
There are reports of internal bleeding observed after prolonged use of ginkgo biloba-based drugs.
