Pharmacological action of
Ginseng tincture stimulates the central nervous system, has a general tonic, hypertensive and hypoglycemic effect: improves appetite, increases blood pressure, mental and physical performance, stimulates sexual function, reduces general weakness, fatigue, drowsiness lowers cholesterol and blood sugar, activates the activity of the adrenal cortex.
Pharmacological activity is determined by the content of triterpene glycosides (panaxosides, panaquilone, panaxin), essential and fatty oils, pectin substances, vitamins, micro and macro elements, as well as phytoestrogens and daucosterol.
Indications
Arterial hypotension (low blood pressure), asthenic syndrome, physical and mental fatigue, neurasthenic syndrome, convalescence period after prolonged and severe, including infectious, diseases, neurocirculatory dystonia of hypotonic type, in complex therapy for weakening functions due to neurasthenia.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, arterial hypertension (high blood pressure), irritability, epilepsy, convulsive conditions, sleep disorders, acute infectious diseases, bleeding, chronic liver diseases, pregnancy, breast-feeding, 12 years of age years).
Precautions: alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, brain disease.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Ginseng is not recommended for use during pregnancy and during lactation (breastfeeding).
Special instructions
The drug should not be used in the afternoon to avoid sleep disturbance.
There is a pronounced seasonality of action: application in the fall and winter is most effective.
The maximum daily dose contains 0.7 g of absolute ethanol, and the maximum single dose contains 0.23 g of absolute alcohol.

Drug Interactions
Use with caution in patients receiving antidiabetic agents (increased effect of hypoglycemic drugs).
Use with caution in conjunction with MAO inhibitors.
When used simultaneously with loop diuretics, the risk of developing resistance to them increases.
With the simultaneous use of ginseng enhances the effects of psychostimulants and analeptics (including caffeine, camphor).
is antagonistic in interaction with drugs that depress the central nervous system (including barbiturates, tranquilizers, antiepileptic drugs). Enhances the effect of warfarin.
