Description

Pharmacological action

Combined preparation. Replenishes the deficiency of iron necessary for the life of the body.

Iron is part of hemoglobin, myoglobin, various enzymes. Reversibly binding oxygen, participates in a number of redox reactions, stimulates erythropoiesis.

Copper sulfate, ascorbic and folic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride contribute to more active absorption of iron, its entry into the systemic circulation and lead to the restoration of its normal concentration in the body.

Dietary albumin, condensed milk and sugar make it possible to use Ferrohematogen as a dietary supplement for malnutrition.

Indications

Iron deficiency anemia, increased physical activity

pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, aplastic and hemolytic anemia, etc., not caused by iron deficiency.

Composition

Chewable pastilles Ferrohematogen. Tile divided into segments.

50 g: – food black albumin 2.375 g

– ascorbic acid 0.05 g

– pyridoxine hydrochloride 0.002 g

– folic acid 0.0001 g

Dosage and Administration

Inside. Children – 1-2 segments of tiles 2-3 times / day for 1-2 months.

For maintenance therapy after iron deficiency anemia – 2 tiles per day.

Drug interaction

The effect is reduced by preparations of aluminum, magnesium, carbonates.

Antacids reduce absorption (intake of these drugs and ferrohematogen should be separated for several hours).
