Pharmacological action
Traumeel C – Homeopathic remedy. It has anti-inflammatory, antiexudative, immunostimulating, regenerating, analgesic, antihemorrhagic, venotonic effects.
Brief description of the indications for the use of the individual components of the formulation: Arnica: Bleeding of myalgia after overstrain of a disease of arterial and venous systems.
Calendula: Poorly healing wounds, lacerated, bruised frostbite wounds and skin burns.
Hamamelis: Varicose veins, hemorrhoids, bleeding from the skin and mucous membranes.
Millefolium: Bleeding, cramping pain.
Atropa belladonna: Inflammatory diseases with severe hyperthermia, especially of the skin and joints.
Aconitum: Acute inflammatory pain syndrome.
Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni: Inflammation of the mucous membranes, inflammation of the lymph glands of bone pain, rheumatism.
Hepar sulfuris: Inflammation and suppuration of the skin and mucous membranes.
Chamomilla recutita: Acute pain of arousal, depression.
Symphytum: Lesions of the bone and periosteum.
bellis perennis: Bleeding, hemorrhage muscle pain, especially after overstrain.
Echinacea angustifolia: Maintenance therapy for severe febrile infections (increased immunity).
Echinacea purpurea: Maintenance therapy for severe febrile infections (increased immunity).
Hypericum: Lesions of the peripheral and central nervous system.
Indications
Dislocations, sprains, bone fractures, soft tissue swelling after surgery and injuries, inflammatory processes of various organs and tissues, especially the musculoskeletal system (tendovaginitis, bursitis, styloiditis, epicondylitis, periarthritis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to asteraceae.
In case of injection, do not use for tuberculosis, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infections and other autoimmune diseases.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use of the drug is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and baby. A doctor’s consultation is needed.
Composition of
1 ampoule (2.2 ml) contains: Arnica D2, Calendula D2, Millefolium D3, Atropa belladonna D2, Chamomilla recutita D3, Symphytum D6 2.2 μl each, Aconitum D2 1.32 μl, Bellis perennis D1 , 1 μl, Hypericum D2 0.66 μl, Echinacea angustifolia D2, Echinacea purpurea D2 0.55 μl each, Hamamelis D1 0.22 μl, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D6 1.1 μl, Hepar sulfuris D2 2.2 μl.
Dosage and administration
Injection: IM (with scars), periarticular 2.2-4.4 ml 1-3 times a week, in acute cases – daily.
Side effects
Arthralgia (with intra-articular injections), hypersalivation and allergic reactions requiring discontinuation of the drug.
Drug Interaction
The use of homeopathic remedies does not preclude the use of other medicines.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported so far.
