Indications
Superficial, uninfected, sensitive to local glucocorticosteroids skin diseases:

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone and any of the excipients of the drug wound, ulcerative skin lesions, bacterial, viral and fungal infections of the skin tuberculosis, syphilis rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, skin tumors, 2-year-old post-vaccination reactions.
Precautions
Diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis (systemic damage), application to the face and intertriginous skin, application of occlusive dressings, application to large areas of the skin, and / or prolonged treatment (especially in children), pregnancy (application to large areas of the skin, long-term treatment), lactation (use in large doses and / or for a long time).
Composition
Active ingredient:
hydrocortisone acetate – 0.5 g
Excipients:
methyl parahydroxybenzoate (methyl paraben),
petrolatum.
Dosage and Administration
Externally. The drug is preferably used for acute and subacute skin processes (without soaking).
The drug is applied to the affected areas of the skin with a thin layer 1-3 times a day. To improve penetration, the drug is applied with light massaging movements. With the appearance of positive dynamics, the frequency of use of the drug can be reduced to 2-3 times a week. The course of treatment is 1-3 weeks. In children, the course of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
If there is no improvement after treatment or if new symptoms appear, consult a doctor. Use the drug only according to the method of application and at the doses indicated in the instructions. If necessary, please consult your doctor before using the medicine.
Side effects
Hyperemia, swelling, itching and skin irritation at the site of application of the ointment.
With prolonged use of a glucocorticosteroid, secondary infections of the skin, atrophic changes, and hypertrichosis may develop.
When applied to large surfaces and / or using occlusion, the development of symptoms of hypercorgicism (hyperglycemia, glucosuria, reversible inhibition of adrenal cortex function, manifestation of Itsenko-Cushing’s syndrome) may occur, as a manifestation of the resorptive effect of hydrocortisone.

Drug Interaction
Smallpox vaccination should not be administered during treatment. No other types of immunization should be planned during treatment due to the immunosuppressive effect of the drug. With improper and prolonged use of the drug with possible absorption of the drug into the common bloodstream, hydrocortisone reduces the effectiveness of insulin, oral hypoglycemic drugs, antihypertensives, anticoagulants, reduces the concentration of salicylates in the blood, reduces the concentration of praziquantel.
Increase the risk of side effects: androgens, estrogens, oral contraceptives, anabolic steroids (hirsutism, acne) antipsychotics, bucarban, azathioprine (cataract) m-cholin blockers, antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, nitrates (glaucoma), diuretics (hypokalemia) cardiac glycosides (digitalis).
The drug should not be used topically with lead and silver because of their mutual inactivation.
overdose
Symptoms: excessive and frequent use during the day or use in children may cause systemic action of the drug.
Treatment: when you cancel the drug, the symptoms of overdose are resolved independently.
