Description

Pharmacological action

Pharmacotherapeutic group: antiseptic agent for external use. A 5% alcohol iodine solution has an antimicrobial, irritating, distracting effect, accelerates wound healing. When applied to the skin from the drug, active iodine is slowly and evenly released, which oxidizes the amino acids of enzymes and transmembrane proteins of pathogenic microorganisms.

According to the degree of exposure to the body, a 5% alcohol iodine solution is classified as moderately hazardous (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).

Indications
