Pharmacological action
Travogen – antifungal, antibacterial.
Pharmacodynamics
Isoconazole is a synthetic derivative of imidazole. It has a local antifungal and antibacterial effect. It acts fungistatically, with increasing concentration – fungicidal.
Suppresses ergosterol synthesis and alters the composition of the microbial cell membrane. It is active against dermatophytes Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Epidermophyton spp., Mold, yeast and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum orbiculare), as well as Cornenebacterium minutissimum – the causative agent of erythrasma and gram-positive bacteria.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied to the skin, systemic absorption is negligible.
Indications
Fungal skin lesions, including secondarily infected:
mycoses of the feet and smooth skin, including with localization in the folds and areas of the external genitalia
microsporia, trichophytosis, rubrophytosis
epidermophytosis
candidiasis
multicolored (pityripe) lichen
erythrasma.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use of Travogen during pregnancy is possible in cases where the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the fetus.
Not installed Isoconazole passes into breast milk, therefore, the drug should not be applied to the mammary glands before feeding.
If necessary, use the drug to resolve the issue with your doctor about stopping breastfeeding.

Dosage and Administration
Topically, for adults and children from 1 month of age.
Travogen is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin and rubbed lightly once a day. The course of treatment is usually 2-3 weeks, with the localization of mycoses in the folds – up to 4 weeks.
Perhaps a longer course of treatment. To prevent relapse, treatment should be continued for 2 weeks after resolution of clinical manifestations.
Side effects
Usually, the travogen is well tolerated, even when applied to sensitive skin.
Rarely, irritation (burning sensation and itching, erythema) may develop, and extremely rarely, skin allergic reactions.
