Pharmacological action

Ketoprofen has a local anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect.

The main mechanism of action of the drug is associated with the suppression of the activity of cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, which regulates the synthesis of prostaglandins.

In case of articular syndrome, the use of the drug can reduce pain at rest and during movement, reduce morning stiffness, swelling of the joints.

Indications

– Disorders of the musculoskeletal system (joint syndrome rheumatism and exacerbation of gout, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis with radicular syndrome, sciatica, inflammation of ligaments, tendons, bursitis, sciatica, lumbago).

– Muscle pains of rheumatic and non-rheumatic origin.

– Post-traumatic inflammation of the soft tissues and musculoskeletal system (injuries and ruptures of ligaments, bruises).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, weeping dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds, pregnancy, lactation, children (up to 12 years old).

Special instructions

Do not use on open wounds and sore skin!

Avoid contact with eyes (danger of conjunctival irritation) and mucous membranes.

After working with the gel, wash your hands immediately. Do not use with occlusive (airtight) dressings!
