Pharmacological action

OKI – non-narcotic anti-inflammatory drug.

It has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic effects.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx, including: stomatitis gingivitis glossitis aphthae periodontopathy chronic periodontitis tonsillitis pharyngitis laryngitis.

As an analgesia for dental procedures.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or other NSAIDs

aspirin triad

peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase

ulcerative colitis in the phase of exacerbation srdrdkrpkp disease including hemophilia)

children under 6 years old

Precautions: for anemia, bronchial asthma, alcoholism, tobacco smoking, alcoholic liver cirrhosis, hyperbilirubinemia, liver failure, diabetes mellitus, dehydration, sepsis, chronic heart failure, edema, hypertension, blood diseases (including leukopenia) glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, stomatitis, in the I and II trimesters of pregnancy, as well as in elderly patients.

When applied topically, caution should be taken in cases of gastric and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, ulcerative colitis in the acute phase, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, peptic ulcer, hemophilia and other blood coagulation disorders, chronic renal failure, during pregnancy, during lactation ( breastfeeding), as well as in children under the age of 6 years.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Use during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.

Dosage and administration of

In ENT practice and dentistry, OKI is used topically in the form of rinses.

Adults – 2 rinses per day. For 1 rinse should use 10 ml of solution (5 injections).

Adolescents over 12 years of age using 1 rinse should use no more than 6 ml (3 injections).

The rinse should be prepared in the glass attached to the package, half filled with drinking water (100 ml).

One press on the dispenser-injector (1 injection) corresponds to 2 ml of a solution of OKI.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

Drug Interaction

When used with anticoagulants, diphenylhydantoin or sulfanylamides, their dosages should be reduced.

Not recommended for use with acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
