Pharmacological action
Lespeflan has a hypoazotemic effect, helps to reduce the content of nitrogen products in the blood, increases the clearance of nitrogen compounds (urea, creatinine, uric acid), enhances glomerular filtration, has a moderate diuretic effect. Lespeflan also has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications
Lespeflan is used in adults as a hypoazotemic, diuretic and anti-inflammatory agent in the complex treatment of chronic renal failure of various origins in the latent compensated and intermittent stages.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the components of Lespeflan. Pregnancy.
Special instructions
With the development of hyponatremia, it should be compensated by the introduction of sodium preparations.
The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 18.9 g of absolute alcohol, which may result in a decrease in the speed of psychomotor reactions, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles and work requiring concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Dosage and administration
Lespeflan is administered orally by 5-15 ml (1 teaspoonful) 1 4 times a day. Dilution of the basic solution is allowed before drinking with water. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. It is allowed to increase the daily dose of Lespeflan to 80-100 ml per day with an extension of the course of treatment up to 6 weeks.

Due to the presence of alcohol, the drug should not be prescribed to patients receiving treatment with drugs that inhibit the central nervous system, insulin, hypoglycemic agents (metformin, sulfonylurea derivatives) with drugs that cause alcohol intolerance (disulfiram-like effect).
