Pharmacological action
Duspatalin – Antispasmodic myotropic action. It has a direct effect on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Eliminates spasm without affecting normal intestinal motility.
Does not have an anticholinergic effect.
Indications
– symptomatic treatment of pain, cramping, dysfunction and discomfort in the intestine associated with irritable bowel syndrome
– symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal tract spasms, incl. caused by organic diseases.
Contraindications
– age under 18 years (due to insufficient data on efficacy and safety)
– hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Duspatalin.
Special instructions
During treatment, care should be taken when driving vehicles and during practicing potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Dosage and administration
Inside, 20 minutes before meals, without chewing and drinking with water, 200 mg 2 times a day (morning and evening).
Side effects
Allergic reactions: urticaria, angioedema (including facial), exanthema, hypersensitivity reactions.
Overdose of
Symptoms: increased CNS excitability.
Treatment: gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy are recommended. The specific antidote is not known.
