Pharmacological action of
Blocker of H 1 histamine receptors. It has anti-allergic effect, reduces swelling of the mucous membranes.
Diazolin weakens the effect of histamine on the smooth muscles of the bronchi, uterus and intestines, reduces the severity of the hypotensive effect of histamine and its effect on increasing vascular permeability.
Unlike antihistamines I generation does not have a pronounced sedative and hypnotic effect (penetrates the blood-brain barrier in small quantities).
Has mild anticholinergic and anesthetic properties.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of the following conditions: Allergic rhinitis (seasonal, chronic), hay fever.
Allergic conjunctivitis.

Urticaria.
Quincke’s edema.
Itchy dermatosis (eczema, neurodermatitis).
Skin reaction to insect bites.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.

Active ingredient:
Mebhydroline atazylate (mebhydroline) 0.1 g
Excipients:
Sucrose (sugar), starch syrup, povidone (Kollidon 25), refined deodorized sunflower oil, talc, wax.
Dosage and administration
Dragee should be taken orally, without chewing, during or immediately after a meal.
Adults and children from 12 years of age are prescribed 0.1 g 1-3 times a day.
Children 3-5 years of age – 0.05 g 1-2 times a day.
Children 5-12 years old – 0.05 g 2-4 times a day.
Highest doses for adults: single – 0.3 g, daily – 0.6 g
The duration of treatment is determined by the nature of the disease and the achieved therapeutic effect.
Side effects of the
From the nervous system and sensory organs:
Fatigue, Dizziness, Paresthesia, tremor when using high doses – slowing down the reaction rate, drowsiness, anxiety (at night), blurred visual perception.
From the organs of the gastrointestinal tract:
Rarely – dry mouth, nausea, heartburn, irritation of the gastric mucosa, epigastric pain, vomiting, constipation.
From the urinary system:
Violation of urination.
Hematopoietic organs:
Rarely – granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis.
Other:
Dry mouth, urinary retention, allergic reactions.
In children – paradoxical reactions
