Drug Interaction
Concomitant administration of Spazgana with other non-narcotic analgesics may lead to mutual enhancement of toxic effects.
Tricyclic antidepressants, contraceptives, allopurinol disrupt metabolic metabolism in the liver and increase its toxicity.
Barbiturates, phenylbutazone and other inducers of microsomal liver enzymes attenuate the effect of metamizole. Co-administration with ciclosporin reduces the latter’s level in the blood. Sedatives and tranquilizers enhance Spazgan’s analgesic action.
Consult your doctor when using these and other medicines at the same time.
