Pharmacological action
Pharmacodynamics
A drug that improves cerebral and peripheral blood circulation, with alpha-adrenergic blocking, as well as activating metabolism.
Reduces vascular resistance, increases arterial blood flow and the consumption of oxygen and glucose by brain tissues. Lowers pulmonary vascular resistance. Reduces platelet aggregation and improves hemorheological parameters.
Increases blood flow in the vessels of the upper and lower extremities, especially in cases of impaired blood flow due to functional arteriopathy. Clinical trials have shown Sermion’s high efficiency in cases of cerebrovascular accident and arterial blood flow insufficiency in the vessels of the upper and lower extremities.
Taking Sermion in therapeutic doses, as a rule, does not affect blood pressure. In patients with arterial hypertension, the drug can cause a gradual decrease in blood pressure.
