Release form
Maxikold Reno. Powder for oral solution (raspberry) from light pink to dark pink with a reddish tint, crystalline, with a specific odor, white crystals and easily crumbling lumps are allowed, the powder dissolves in 250 ml of hot water to form an opalescent pink solution with a characteristic raspberry smell.
Packaging

Pharmacological action
Combined preparation with antipyretic, vasoconstrictive, analgesic and antiallergic effects.
Paracetamol
It has an antipyretic and analgesic effect: it reduces the pain syndrome observed in colds – sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain, lowers heat.
Pheniramin
It has an anti-allergic effect: it eliminates puffiness and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and sinuses, reduces runny nose and lacrimation.
Phenylephrine
Has a vasoconstrictor effect: reduces swelling of the nasopharynx.
Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
Replenishes the increased need for Vitamin C for colds and flu, especially in the initial stages of the disease, increases the body’s resistance to infectious diseases.
The combined action of pheniramine and phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion and greatly facilitates nasal breathing.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of colds, SARS, flu, accompanied by fever, chills, headache, runny nose, sinus and throat pain, nasal congestion, sneezing and pain in muscles and joints.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the individual components of the drug.
Severe renal / hepatic insufficiency.
Pregnancy.
Breastfeeding period.
Children’s age (up to 12 years).
Use with caution in:
Arterial Hypertension.
Diabetes.
Angle-closure glaucoma.
Diseases of the liver or kidneys.
Prostatic hyperplasia.

Composition of
1 sachet contains:

Paracetamol 325 mg.
Pheniramine maleate 20 mg.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg.
Ascorbic acid 50 mg.
Excipients:

sucrose (refined sugar),
titanium dioxide,
sodium citrate dihydrate,
flavoring, srldlkp dye, hydrochloric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrochloric acid dihydrate (tricalcium phosphate tribasic),

Dosage and administration
Dissolve the contents of one packet in 1 cup of boiled hot water. Use it hot. You can add sugar to taste.
A repeated dose can be taken every 4 hours (no more than 3 doses in 24 hours).
Maxicold Rino against flu and colds can be used at any time of the day, but the best effect is taking the drug before bedtime, at night.
If symptom relief is not observed within 3 days after starting the drug, consult a doctor.
Side effects
Possible:
Allergic reactions, drowsiness, nausea, epigastric pain, dry mouth, paresis of accommodation, increased irritability, dizziness, increased blood pressure, delayed falling asleep.

Drug Interaction
It is recommended to refrain from taking the drug while taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
The risk of hepatotoxic action of paracetamol increases with the simultaneous administration of barbiturates, diphenin, carbamazepine, rifampicin, zidovudine and other inducers of microsomal liver enzymes.
Antidepressants, antiparkinsonian and antipsychotic drugs, phenothiazine derivatives increase the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation.
Reduces the hypotensive effect of guanethidine, which in turn enhances the alpha-adrenostimulating activity of phenylephrine.
Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain and hepatotoxic and nephrotoxic effects, in severe cases hepatic failure, encephalopathy and coma.
Treatment: You should do a stomach wash, take activated charcoal and see a doctor.
