Pharmacological action

Infusion of Plantain has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial bacteriostatic (in relation to staphylococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, hemolytic streptococcus), hemostatic, antiallergic, analgesic, expectorant, sedative, hypotensive and laxative effect.

Indications

– Hypoacid gastritis, colitis, enteritis, enterocolitis, dysentery, constipation loss of appetite

– kidney disease, urethritis, cystitis

– atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension

– ulcerous ulcers, cuts, burns, boils, acne

– inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and nasopharynx

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity,

– hypersecretion of gastric juice,

– hyperacid gastritis,

Dosage and administration 3.0 g

The infusion is taken orally in warm form 2-3 times a day 30 minutes after meals for 7-10 days: adults and children over 12 years old – 1/2 cup, children from 6 to 12 years old – 1/3 cup , children from 3 to 5 years old – 1/4 cup.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, heartburn.

Drug Interactions

Do not take concomitantly with preparations containing codeine and other antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult to discharge liquefied sputum.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place cooked infusion – in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
