Release form
Effervescent flat-cylindrical tablets, from pale orange to light orange, interspersed with a darker and lighter color, dissolve in water with the release of bubbles, forming a solution with the smell of an orange.
Indications
– deficiency or condition, accompanied by an increased need for B vitamins, vitamin C and zinc.
The vitamin content of Berocca ® Plus is selected for therapeutic use.
The drug is used for conditions accompanied by a deficiency or increased need for vitamins: with increased physical exertion, during prolonged nervous overstrain and stress with malnutrition and unbalanced diet (restrictive diets) in elderly people with chronic alcoholism, nicotine addiction (in smokers), and also when using oral contraceptives in women.

Berocca ® Plus is not intended for use in pregnant or lactating women.

The vitamins and minerals found in Berocca ® Plus are excreted in breast milk. There is no data on the safety of the drug when used during lactation.

Dosage and administration of
The drug is taken orally. A film-coated tablet is washed down with water. The effervescent tablet is previously dissolved in a glass of water.
Adults and children aged 15 years and older are prescribed 1 tablet / day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of the drug.
Recommended treatment duration is 30 days. The doctor determines the need for a second course of treatment individually.
Side effects of the
Digestive system: mild transient gastrointestinal upsets possible.
Allergic reactions: rarely (<1/10 000) - urticaria, rash, laryngeal edema, anaphylactic shock. From the hematopoietic system: in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, ascorbic acid can cause hemolytic anemia. From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, insomnia, irritability. Drug Interaction Pyridoxine at a dose greater than 5 mg may neutralize levodopa in patients with parkinsonism. However, such antagonism is not observed when using levodopa in combination with a decarboxylase inhibitor (eg, benserazide, cardbidopa). Thiosemicarbazone and 5-fluorouracil neutralize the action of thiamine. Antacid drugs inhibit thiamine absorption. Neomycin, aminosalicylic acid and histamine H2 receptor blockers reduce cyanocobalamin absorption. Acetylsalicylic acid reduces the absorption of ascorbic acid by about a third. Oral contraceptives can reduce the serum content of cyanocobalamin, folic acid, pyridoxine, ascorbic acid. Some patients taking daily 500mg of Deferoxamine and ascorbic acid may experience transient left ventricular dysfunction. Overdose No overdose has been reported.
