Pharmacological action
Complivit-Active is a combined multivitamin preparation with micro and macro elements, the effect of which is due to the effects of the substances that make up its composition.
It has a positive effect on the blood hemoglobin content and other blood parameters, the violation of which is associated with a deficiency of minerals and vitamins, normalizes (with long-term use) impaired lipid metabolism (hyperlipidemia, mainly atherogenic type) and carbohydrate tolerance, increases exercise tolerance (in including long).
Indications
For children and adolescents aged 7 to 18 years: – for the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis, vitamin deficiencies, lack of minerals and trace elements in the body during the growth and development of
– to increase the body’s resistance to increased physical and mental stress, regular exercise
– with insufficient and unbalanced nutrition

Contraindications

Special instructions
In case of allergic reactions to the components of the drug Complivit should be discontinued.
Do not recommend taking this medication concurrently with other multivitamin preparations to avoid overdose.
When prescribing the drug, it should be borne in mind that the daily dose of retinol acetate during pregnancy should not exceed 5000 IU.
It is possible to stain urine in an intense yellow color, which is not dangerous, as it is due to the presence of riboflavin in the composition of the drug.

Dosage and administration of
Complivit-Active recommend taking 1 tab. 1 time / day
Duration of the course is determined individually. (Usually – 1 month).
The drug should be taken after breakfast with water.
Side effects
Allergic reactions possible.
Drug interaction
The drug contains iron and calcium, therefore, with the combined use of antibiotics of the tetracycline group and fluoroquinolones, the absorption of the latter from the gastrointestinal tract is slowed down.
Ascorbic acid enhances the pharmacological effect and side effects of the antimicrobial agents from the sulfanilamide group (including agethere is a risk of crystalluria).
With the simultaneous use of antacids, which include aluminum, calcium, magnesium, as well as colestyramine, iron absorption decreases.
When used together with thiazide diuretics, the risk of developing hypercalcemia increases.
