Pharmacological Effects
Suspension ² ÑShustrik ² Ñ has a nematodicidal and cestodocidal effect against helminths parasitizing in rodents, including Syphacia obvelata, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Nippostrongylus muris, Nippostrongylus braziliensis, Heterakis spumosa, Trichocephalus muris, Trichocephalus sylvilagi, Trichostrongylus retortaeformis, Paraspidodera uncinata, Strongyloides spp., Passalurus ambiguus, Hymenolepis diminuta, Hymenolepis nana. The mechanism of action of fenbendazole, which is part of the preparation, consists in the destruction of microtubules in the intestinal cells of helminths and the disruption of energy processes, which leads to the death of parasites.
The mechanism of action of praziquantel is based on the depolarization of neuromuscular ganglion blockers, impaired glucose transport and microtubular function in cestodes, impaired muscle innervation, paralysis and helminth death.

Increased individual sensitivity to the active components of the drug.
Composition
“Shustrik” suspension in 1 ml as active ingredients contains fenbendazole – 2.5 mg and praziquantel – 1.5 mg and excipients.
Dosage and administration
Before use, the suspension should be shaken thoroughly.
The drug is administered once orally individually or in a group manner at a dose of 1 ml / kg animal mass, which is (for one animal mass): ² Ñ rabbit 3 kg – 3.0 ml
² Ñ mice 18 ² 20 g – 0, 02 ml
² Ñ rats 180-200 g – 0.2 ml
² Ñ guinea pigs 150-200 g – 0.2 ml.
For therapeutic purposes, deworming of animals is carried out according to indications, with prophylactic – quarterly in a therapeutic dose.
In the case of group use of the drug with drinking water, the dose of Shustrik suspension calculated for a group of animals is diluted with 1:10 ratio of water and drunk for 1 day in drinking bowls with a capacity of 50-100 ml, taking into account the rate of consumption of drinking water for animals (0.1 ml per 10 g of animal mass).
When using the drug with food, the dose of Shustrik suspension calculated per group of animals is introduced into the food at the rate of 1 ml per 50 g, mix thoroughly (dry food is dried) and fed to the animals for 1 day.
During deworming, animals should receive only water (food) with the drug.
Side effects
When using the drug according to the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed.
Storage conditions
Store the drug in a place protected from light and moisture, out of the reach of children and animals, away from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 ° C to 25 ° C.
