Pharmacological action
Okusalin is a sterile solution of sodium chloride (hypertonic solution of NaCl 3%).
The product has a cleansing effect, soothes, relieves discomfort, counteracts the development of inflammation in the event that foreign particles get into the eye, helps reduce and eliminate conjunctival corneal edema, and also accelerates the time of its rehabilitation in the early postoperative period, which leads to a reduction in patients’ complaints of discomfort, foreign body sensation in the eye, blurred vision and lacrimation in this period.
Due to its antimicrobial activity, the solution can be used for infections of the conjunctiva and cornea of ​​an infectious-inflammatory nature.
Preservatives are not included in the preparation, therefore, when it is used, there is no toxic side effect on the eye tissue.
Okusalin can also be prescribed as an adjunct therapy for eye allergies, because it removes allergens present on the surface of the eye.
The tool is approved for use in all groups of patients.
Plasticized unidoses containing the required volume of solution do not break or break if accidentally dropped.
Indications

Contraindications
The use of eye drops Okusalin is contraindicated in the presence of hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Recommendations for use
The solution contained in 1 unit dose (1 or 2 ml) is designed for one procedure.
Unused product should be disposed of immediately after use.
Before performing the instillation of the drug, you need to separate 1 unit dose from the rest and, turning the lid, open it.
Then, throwing back your head, with a slight pressure on the unit dose, you should introduce the solution into the eye by instillation.
It is recommended that you rinse for at least 2 minutes.
If necessary, in order to completely remove foreign particles and remove unpleasant sensations, you can repeat the procedure using the contents of the following unit dose. After completion of the solution, the used unidose should be discarded.
The solution can be used for a long time.

Drug interaction
If Okusalin is used in combination with ophthalmic preparations, the interval between instillation and instillation of other eye drops should be 2-3 minutes.
Eye ointments are always recommended to be administered after using the solution.
