Pharmacological action

Fibro Wayne has a venosclerosing effect. Upon contact with endothelium, it causes rapid coagulation of its proteins.

Indications

Various forms of varicose veins of the lower extremities, including intradermal varicose veins and telangiectasias.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of Fibro Wayne, acute thrombophlebitis, acute thrombosis, arterial insufficiency of the lower extremities, hemorrhagic diathesis, local and general infection.

Special instructions

1. Fibro-Vane should be used by doctors who are skilled in sclerotherapy. It is necessary to correctly assess valve failure and the state of deep veins.

2. Vein sclerotherapy is carried out with caution with absolute confidence in the patency of the deep and communicative veins of the lower extremities.

3. Before starting treatment, you must know the patient ™s allergic history. You can enter the patient 0.25-0.5 ml of Fibro-Wayne 24 hours before treatment to identify a possible allergic reaction.

Composition

1 ml contains 5 mg sodium tetradecyl sulfate.

Dosage and administration of

fibro-vane is administered iv into the lumen of an isolated segment of an empty superficial vein with immediate prolonged compression (applying a compression bandage). The dosage is determined depending on the size of the vein subjected to sclerosis. The usual dose is 1 ml (no more) in one place. For Fibro-Wayne, 0.5% is the maximum single dose of up to 10 ml. Side effects
