Expectorant of plant origin.
Thermopsis herb has an expectorant effect, providing a moderate irritant effect on the receptors of the gastric mucosa, reflexively increases the secretion of bronchial glands.
The alkaloids (cytisine, methylcytisine, pachycarpin, anagirin, thermopsin, and thermopsidin) contained in the thermopsis exert an exciting effect on the respiratory and high-dose vomiting centers.
Sodium bicarbonate stimulates the secretion of bronchial glands, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum.
Indications
Assign as a part of complex therapy in the treatment of respiratory diseases, which are accompanied by cough with difficult to separate sputum, including bronchitis and tracheitis.
Contraindications
Exacerbation of gastric ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer. Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding.

Composition

herb lanceolum thermopsis powder 6.7 mg,
sodium bicarbonate 250 mg
Excipients:
potato starch – 27.9 mg,
talcum powder – 5.4 mg.
Dosage and administration
Cough tablets, according to the instructions, are prescribed one piece three times a day.
Duration of treatment usually does not exceed five days.
Children Cough tablets are allowed to use from 12 years old in an adult dosage.

During treatment it is recommended that you drink plenty of warm water, which helps to improve the separation and thinning of sputum.
Digestion, including vomiting and nausea, may occur in children and adults with an overdose of Cough Tablets.

Side effects

Drug Interactions
